MEET THE TEAM

Art and design have always been the underlying theme of my life. After graduating with an Illustration degree from Falmouth College of Arts in 2003, I spent 15 years navigating the fast-paced, high-pressure world of digital project management.

Eventually, the pull to return to my creative roots and work with my hands became too strong to ignore. I established our gorgeous Tresanton Garden Studio to serve as a light-filled, inspiring, and fully stocked hub for local creatives.

Now celebrating our 4th year, the club has grown into a vibrant community with over 40 members arriving at the studio table every single week. Today, along with our wonderful guest hosts, our goal is to guide you through experimental paper techniques, composition tricks, and inspiring weekly prompts while keeping every single session completely relaxed, supportive, and fueled by plenty of good conversation, tea, and biscuits!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE STUDIO

Trying a new workshop or coming to a new space can sometimes feel a bit daunting. I have designed the entire experience to be as smooth, welcoming, and effortless as possible from the moment you arrive:

📍 The Location: Nestled in a charming garden studio at 59 Canterbury Road, Herne Bay (CT6 5DQ). When you arrive, simply enter via the garden gate to the right of the main house and follow the path straight to the back studio.

🚗 Easy Parking: Free, unrestricted street parking is readily available right outside the studio on Canterbury Road, or just a few steps around the corner on Cecil Park.

✂️ Zero Preparation: The studio is heavily archived with thousands of vintage magazines, text volumes, custom hand-painted sheets, and premium cutting tools. Everything is laid out and waiting for you—there is never a need to buy or bring your own supplies.
