Once again, The Bay Collage Club took part in Februllage, a creative challenge established by the Edinburgh Collage Collective and the Scandinavian Collage Museum. Over 30 artists joined in with this exciting initiative by purchasing our specially curated Februllage Packs.

Throughout February, participants embraced the “collage a day” challenge, with many opting to create a few collages each week instead. Our packs included two untouched magazines, a 'cut out and collage' page, a music score, a variety of painted, coloured, and patterned papers, as well as a sketchbook to keep their creations organised alongside the 2026 Februllage prompt sheet.

We are delighted to announce that many talented artists chose to share their works with us, leading to the launch of an online gallery that beautifully showcases their creativity.

A heartfelt thank you to the Edinburgh Collage Collective and the Scandinavian Collage Museum for inspiring us all through this collaborative artistic challenge.

COLLAGE DEMONSTRATION AT THE WORKS

Art enthusiasts were invited to gather at The Works in Herne Bay on Saturday 31st January for an inspiring collage demonstration by the talented Jess. Host of the popular “Collage and a Cuppa” Tuesday group and the “Thursday Night Collage Social”, Jess showcased her passion for art from 9am to1 pm, demonstrating the accessibility of collage techniques using vibrant hand painted papers.

Visitors were treated to an engaging demonstration with many attendees taking the opportunity to stock up on art supplies, making the most of the materials available at The Works.

After the demonstration, Jess encouraged everyone to continue their artistic journeys with workshops and online content from The Bay Collage Club. Overall, the feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting Jess's ability to bring the art of collage to life.

What a fabulous preview evening for our very first Summer Show at The Bay Collage Club! A massive thank you to everyone who came along! 🎉 Guests took full advantage of our exclusive offer—book two workshops this weekend and enjoy a splendid 25% off!
