On Saturday 9th May 2026, The Bay Collage Club hosted an Open Studio event in celebration of World Collage Day! We were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many new faces, and witness their creativity during our free workshop taster sessions.
Our amazing ambassadors did a wonderful job promoting the club, ensuring that everyone felt warmly welcomed and part of our day. It was inspiring to see our visitors’ interpretations of the "Gratitude" prompt, which made for beautiful additions to our exhibition display on the day.
We’re delighted to share that we gained four new members and received bookings for our upcoming evening workshops! Plus, a big congratulations to Kate Ahern, the winner of our prize draw! We look forward to welcoming her to a free evening workshop!
Our lovely tote bags and collage packs were popular, and our founder, Alison Drewett, was grateful to sell her beautiful cards and prints throughout the day. Additionally, we raised £100 for art supplies for Herne Bay Junior School through postcard sales from our Gratitude Exhibition, which is simply wonderful!
A huge thank you to everyone who supported Alison’s daughters by purchasing their refreshing lemonade or having their portraits done by our talented six-year-old resident artist in the driveway.
